Vienna is full of trendy & good restaurants and this one is not meant to be particularily one of the top highlights, but simply a comfortable and nice spot where we have enjoyed repeating for lunch during every EPCA congess held in Vienna.

This is a touristic spot…for some good historical reasons:
Café Central is a traditional viennese cafe located in the first district of Vienna. It occupies the ground floor of the former Bank and Stockmarket Building.
The café was opened in 1876, and in the late 19th century it became a key meeting place of the Viennese intellectual scene.
Members of the Circle of Vienna held many meetings at the café before and after the World War I.

No doubt this is one of the trendiest bars in Vienna and a must visit spot for a drink (or two) among the beautiful local people of Vienna.
