HOTEL HURRICANE – TARIFA

www.hotelhurricane.com

This small and exotic hotel, built in the Moorish style with high arches and palm trees set within beautiful gardens.
The great views afforded over the Strait of Gibraltar to Morocco provide a further bonus.

Located at the southernmost point of the Iberian Peninsula, where the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean meet, Tarifa is a lovely Andalusian fishing village and port.
The winds, from east and west, have made the area one of the primary windsurfing and kiteboarding spots both in Europe and the world.
Approximately 60% of the municipal area is protected, which means that Tarifa and the surrounding area are particularly special in having maintained their original natural environment.
It is tucked in between two natural parks, the Cork Oak Forests (Alcornocales) and the Strait of Gibraltar (Estrecho), and boasts the great sand dune of Bolonia. This dune has an altitude of 30 meters and is one of the least altered landscapes of the Costa de la Luz.
